 Dr. Alessandra Puggioni, MD, RPVI, RphS, DFAVF, is a Vein and Vascular Surgeon who specializes in  venous diseases and lower extremities vein-related lymphedema.

A Double Board-Certified Surgeon with additional training in Phlebology, Dr. Puggioni completed a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in 2006.

Currently serving on the Board of Directors of the American Venous Forum, the premier international vein medical society, Dr. Puggioni has over 20 years of experience with vein treatments. A number of her publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and book chapters have led to her being invited frequently to speak nationwide and internationally.

Additionally, Dr. Puggioni is licensed in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and Vein Sonography (RPhS) and is a Distinguished Fellow of the AVF.
