Dr. Alessandra Puggioni, MD, RPVI, RPhS, DFAVF is a double-Board-Certified physician in Vascular Surgery and General Surgery. Dr. Puggioni completed a five-year General Surgery Residency as well as a one-year Fellowship in Venous Surgery in Honolulu, Hawaii. This was followed by a two-year Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in 2006. Dr. Puggioni moved to New York in 2022 from Scottsdale, AZ -where she was Chair of Vascular Surgery and Medical Director at Honor Health and Scottsdale Vascular Services, respectively-
She has over 20 years of experience with vein treatments having performed her first RFA (radiofrequency ablation) in 2002. Dr. Puggioni is also certified in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and Vein Sonography (RPhS) and sees patients in her Manhattan office on 5th Avenue in NoMad.
